HOW TO FIGHT CRIME SUCCESSFULLY
THE ESSENTIALS ARE:
Choose suitably educated and honest staff for police training.
Choose healthy and strong applicants.
Obese people do not make efficient police personnel.
They are sluggish and unable to pursue a fit criminal in full flight.
They are prone to medical conditions related to obesity.
Obviously all police personnel must be capable of taking affidavits from the complainant and his or her witnesses.
All police personnel must learn the definitions of the various types of criminal acts in order to be able record all the requisite essentials of the criminal act reported.
Investigating Officers must in applicable situations cordon off the scene of the crime to exclude the public and non essential police officers who may unwittingly destroy forensic and photographic evidence.
In applicable circumstances the investigating officer (s) must call out the forensice investigators
the police fingerprint experts
the police dogs for tracking and subsequent identification of criminals
the police photographers
the district surgeon (Medical Doctor)
Governments worldwide should consider passing legislation to capture the DNA, FINGERPRINTS AND PHOTOGRAPHS of all its inhabitants for use in appropriate criminal investigations.
The photos and fingerprints used for IDENTITY DOCUMENTS should be available to the police in applicable circumstances.
The identity photos should be updated once every ten years to be of use for identification of criminals. The reason is obvious, a person's features change over time.
